Harolds Cross youth club has created life long memories for young people and volunteers
for over 60 years. Harolds Cross youth club believes in the vision and capabilities of their
well trained volunteers to fulfil the potential of young people to shape a better future.
These volunteers have worked with thousands of young people over the years and presently
continue to work with 350 children on a weekly basis.
Harolds Cross volunteers are committed to best practice at all times. All volunteers affiliated to Crosscare are Gardai Vetted and have completed Child Protection and Leadership
We are happy to state that Harolds Cross Youth Club and Summer Programme comply with
the highest standard of Good Youth Work Practice.
Harolds Cross youth Club is an integral part of the community, and needs your support in
any practical way you feel you can help. This club runs 6 days a week on a voluntary basis.
Local community spirit is where our young people learn to grow into community giving,
healthy adults. This is true of Harolds Cross Youth Club standing the test of time over 60
Our mission is to provide sport and leisure activities and entertainment for all our valued members who
reside within the Harold’s Cross and surrounding area.
We achieve this by:
- being positive in our work,
- the inclusion of all our members,
- by being supportive and understanding to the needs of each member and their family
- by carrying out our duties with passion, compassion and respect.
Our ethos is to ensure that that each member feels safe, secure, valued and accepted in our Club.
We achieve this by creating a fun and safe environment in which our members can avail of all of
the services that we offer.
Our vision is to continue to provide a sanctuary for our members. Also to support and encourage our members to progress and prosper both in football and youth club activities. We can achieve this by continuing the amazing work and effort shown by all our Club’s dedicated volunteers.
